Contact Point
Contact Points were organizations from Southeast European countries (which do not yet have their own national agencies), accredited by the SALTO South East Europe Resource Centre, with the aim of promoting European youth programs (in earlier years these were the “YOUTH” and “Youth in Action” programs, and since 2014, Erasmus+) and providing support to local organizations/institutions interested in becoming involved.
Group “Let’s…” was accredited as the Contact Point for Serbia starting in 2005. This role was initially carried out on a voluntary basis by promoting the “YOUTH” Program – which was active at the time. Field experience showed that only a small number of people and organizations had information about the Program, and that most lacked the capacity to develop a quality project proposal. Additionally, too little information about the Program was available in Serbian.
Throughout its work, the Contact Point (together with partner organizations and collaborators) conducted several hundred trainings and various events, provided hundreds of different forms of support to organizations, Youth Offices, and institutions in the application process, and informed tens of thousands of young people in Serbia about the program and its opportunities.
By decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Contact Point transferred its resources to the Tempus Foundation in 2016, which from that moment assumed the responsibilities of the National Agency for the Erasmus+ Youth program.
