Gathering

Gathering is a film that follows the crisis of a young woman who no longer finds any meaning in the lifestyle of the middle class. The crisis of capitalism and the concept of freedom are refracted through her relationship with her partner (who is a deaf person), awakening different emotions and needs in them (which appear in the film as separate characters). As the story progresses, we are increasingly drawn into the inner realities of the characters. The film uses both Serbian spoken and sign language.

The film was also screened at: Prokuplje Film Festival, International Festival Gornji Milanovac, Seattle Film Festival (USA), FeKK – Ljubljana Short Film Festival (Slovenia), Kino Bled (Slovenia), 1904 Deaf Film Festival (Missouri, USA), Muestra Intergalactica Short Film Festival (Saltillo, Mexico). The Art Gallery Film Festival (India) awarded the film the prize for Overall Artistic Expression.
