“Is it warring time again?”

Using performances and short films for the purpose of reconciliation and advocacy against extremism in the Western Balkans.

Time:
October 1–9, 2018 (the first training from 1–8 October 2018, and a presentation in Tuzla on October 8).
Presentations in Skopje and Kukës to follow in October or November.

Location:
Sremski Karlovci (Serbia), Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Skopje (Macedonia), Kukës (Albania)

Project goal:
To empower 24 representatives of youth organizations, schools, and informal groups from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, and Albania to use performances and short films to highlight the rise of extremism, xenophobia, and fascism in the Western Balkans and Europe.

During the seven-day training, participants will have the opportunity to get familiar with techniques of performance and short film creation, and jointly create a presentation (a compilation of all short films and performances), which will be shown in Novi Sad and Tuzla immediately after the training, and in Skopje and Kukës at a later date, in October or November.

More information about the project and the application process can be found in the document Call-for-participants-Is-it-warring-time-again.
