Training for Living Library Organizers

Group “Let’s…” is implementing the Training for Living Library Organizers in cooperation with the following partners: Bonsai (Croatia), The Ideas Partnership (Kosovo), Subversive Front (North Macedonia), Independent Zenica (Bosnia and Herzegovina), NGO “Portret” (Montenegro), and SloMo (Slovenia).

The general goal of the project is to engage young people from the former Yugoslav countries who work in the field of human rights protection, social inclusion, and to support them in combating prejudice and discrimination in their societies through intercultural dialogue, using the Human Library methodology.

The project includes several phases and activities, beginning with an initial training for Living Library organizers in Croatia (Mljet), intended for representatives from each country, and includes organizing a small Living Library event. To involve as many people as possible and create a “snowball effect,” a second training will be held in Serbia for new organizers. This will be followed by a nine-month period during which Living Libraries will be organized in each of the partner countries (a total of 7 Living Libraries).
